At Fishermen's Paradise it's also possible to fish on many smaller lakes in the area which are only a few miles from Scarriff, especially when the wind is to strong on Lough Derg. To fish in the best conditions, many times it's necessary to rent a boat. |

Lough Bridget: This small lake on the Scarriff - Ennis road. The lough have very good access for coarse and pike anglers. You can fish from the shore at many places, but if you whant to explore all this lake, it's best to rent a boat.

Kilgory Lough: Another lake in the same region very good for pike and coarse fishing. This lake is smaller than Lough Bridget and it's sometime difficult to find, but it's a nice and quiet place where you also can fish from the shores and have very good fishing bags.

Lough Graney: You will find this lake in the direction of Gort. It's bigger than Lough Bridget, and hold a large stock of pike, coarse and trout fish. It's also possible to fish from the shore in a few areas along the road near the Graney River" which flows in the direction of Scarriff.

Lough Atorik: A small mountain lake with trout near lough Graney where it's possible to fish from the shores.
